A selective hand harvest is followed by a resting period wherein the grapes stand in their own juice for about 8 hours. After the subsequent gentle pressing, a part ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and the other in Palatinate oak barrels.
Citrus fruits play on the nose with fine herbs and hints of mango and vineyard peach. On the palate, the Riesling is very juicy, taut, and animating with wonderful depth and a very fine tannin structure on the finish.
A delightful food companion that goes superbly with roast meat and beef. It also pairs well with Asian cuisine or oysters.
